UNTITLED acrylic pours

While in Florida this past spring, I had an opportunity to try this trending application of acrylic pouring.  I am very happy with the results but have not decided if they are done yet.  I love the whimsical flow, giving the appearance of the universe or underwater.

SOLD, is my 20X20  acrylic, a reflection of the fall colors in the pond under a clear sky. Having only painted the reflection gives the eye a lot of imagination.  Hypnotic was accepted and sold at the 2018 juried "Paint Ontario" art exhibition, Lambton Heritage Museum

Pitcher Trap 18x24 acrylic, is my first painting of 2018.  Painting flowers in the dead of this severe winter keeps me encouraged that the days are getting longer and in a few short months the tulips will pop out of the ground.   My painting was selected for the OCCI juried show at the Elmhurst Inn gallery in Ingersoll and will be on display until March 20th 2018.

Last Tango in Paris was commissioned to be raffled at the Brantford Polish Hall dance that I often attend on Sunday nights.  It is an 18x24 acrylic, and I wish good luck to the person that wins it.  Thank you for your support dear Brian my friend.

This acrylic painting was created to commemorate the 150th  birthday of our country.  It is being shown during the Oh Canada exhibit at the Ingersoll Creative art Center. Most of this piece is done with a pallet knife with a few fine paintbrush detail.  The background is totally abstract giving it a unique look.

36 X 48  acrylic TRIPTICH,
horizontal canvas
I created this painting for the show Canadiana. The natives of our country have at least 15,000 years  history of their culture. These remaining Totem Poles  are an example of Canadas' heritage. Come view works by Artists of Oxford members from June 17 to 24 at the Arts Project London Ontario.

Think Spring 20 x 20 acrylic, was painted based on a photo I took on my way to ballroom dancing one evening.  I was heading west to London Ontario, on Gore Road. It appeared the sky was on  fire.  I couldn't help myself but to stop at this beautiful sunset in my heels and dance gown to snap a quick pic.

Waltz across Texas is my recent 24 x 30 acrylic commission.  When asked to depict my interpretation of the song "Waltz Across Texas" on canvas,  I was so excited to join my passion of ballroom dancing with my love of painting.  Its new owner is extremely pleased with her masterpiece and so am I.

I have  recently been dabbling with Abstracts, taking a few workshops and expressing myself.  This 16x20 acrylic is one of the results, it reminds me of dancing.

Great news, my two watercolors have recently found a new home. I hope their new owners have several years of enjoyment having them on their walls.

Not an ornamental fish is this 16 x 20 acrylic painting.   I've attempted to invigorate the piece by using bold brush strokes and contrasting bright color.  For more information contact me at or 519 533 2360
