Today is a lovely sunny day to take a walk over to the Ingersoll Art Center between 2 and 4.  Weathered 1,2,and 3 can be viewed as well as others from the Monday afternoon painters. Hope to see you there.

WEATHERED

Weathered is being exhibited at the Ingersoll Arts Center, beginning January 9 at 2pm.  The exhibit AS WE SEE IT is a compilation of works from the Monday afternoon artist co-operative. Come join us for the openning between 2 and 4 this Sunday.

 This quick charcoal and wash was painted plein air in Tuscany, during my painting retreat at the watermill at Posara

winter landscape

This 8" by 10" winter landscape was my first watercolor, completed in November 2009 during an art workshop at the Ingersoll Arts Center.  It is now framed and available for viewing and/or purchase at the "Florence Estate Winery".  I have many other works of art displayed at

Here is the finished product, on display at, "The Florence Estate Winery". I can almost feel the frigid air as I watch those boats rocking back and forth, or, is the air warm? You decide!

Linda Trowell guided us during this workshop of skies and clouds.  We ended up with alot of emotional skies as a result.  What a great day of experimenting and creating, thanks again Linda!!!

THE VILLAGE CASTLE

The day we spent at the village castle was my favorite.  We wandered all day, up and down the cobble stone narrow streets, and painted whatever our hearts desired.  As I painted the castle, several local Italians gathered around me with amazement. I didn't understand what they were saying but knew they were pleased.  Italians are very friendly people.

Its time I got around to posting some of my work from my trip to Tuscany. 

These 2 pen and wash were done in Fivizzanno, a wonderfull little town where we enjoyed a picnic one afternoon.

THE FLOCK

The Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre is pleased to present THE FLOCK.  Sculpture and paintings with a bird theme.  July 25th to August 29th.  Openning July 25th form 2 to 4.  My painting of "The Otterville Goose"  will be on display as well as two newer bird theme watercolors.

THE LAKEHOUSE

During my recent summer vacation up to Kapuskasing I took some time to paint my Parent's Lakehouse.  As its is on the market to be sold I thought this would make a great souvenir.  I don't have any room for it on my walls and will submit it for exhibition soon.

COMMING SOON

The Watermill at Posara Italy
