During the opening day at The Early Bird Cafe in Woodstock, I was elated that my painting sold. I painted it specifically for the cafe, they will be showcasing local work on their walls.

Follow me 1 and 2
Both paintings were created from the same photograph of a ravine I visited in the Karwarthas, Ontario. They are both in acrylic and 12x24. Follow Me 1 was juried in and sold at the Lambton Heritage Museum, "Paint Ontario Art Show and Sale". Follow Me 2 for which I just finished, will be on Exhibit at the Station Arts Center, in Tillsonburg, at the upcoming "Double Vision Art Exhibit". Stay tuned for more information....

On one of my walks at the Dorchester Pond, during this time of isolation, I turned around to look at the view behind me, I was amazed at the softness of the scene and captured an amazing photograph. Great subject for another painting.

A girl on the Beach was suggested to me, and since I've been experimenting with chalk pastels. I have painted this subject many times but not in this medium. Loving this limited pallet and the soft colors.
